Another federal funding cut eliminated funding for librarians in federal prisons. Courtney Pyrke is a librarian who has written about the impact of prison libraries on incarcerated people. Courtney, as a regional advocate with the Elizabeth Fry Society worked directly with the prison library staff, including incarcerated people who were employed to work in the library.
